Stainless Steel Tolerances
Stainless Sales Corporation carries stock in a wide range of sizes and gauge tolerances. The gauge tolerance is defined as the allowable amount of variation in thickness throughout the coil in both transverse and longitudinal directions.
We order material to the tightest tolerances possible to reduce variation. Below are some of the standard gauges and tolerances for cold rolled stainless steel.
