Stainless Sales Corporation classifies its medium and light gauge slitting capabilities as follows:

10-20 Gauge – medium gauge slitting
21-28 Gauge – light gauge slitting

We have two 60” slitters, with one dedicated to medium and one dedicated to light gauge slitting. Often light gauge slitting requires value-added services such as PVC and fiber core inserts. Also, with dedicated equipment for certain gauge ranges, we are able to maximize productivity and ensure quality slit edges.
